The Journey Continues
Cyn’s journey in yoga is a testament to her dedication to lifelong learning and her passion for sharing the transformative power of yoga with others. After discovering yoga in 2018 as a way to heal from a spinal injury (L4-L5 compression), she immersed herself fully into the practice. Graduating from her initial 220-hour Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) in February 2020, she built a strong classical foundation in Vinyasa, Hatha, and Restorative yoga, along with Yoga Philosophy, equipping her with a versatile skill set to guide students of all levels.
In her pursuit of deeper knowledge and refined teaching methods, Cyn completed an additional 300-hour advanced training in February 2024. This rigorous program expanded her expertise in trauma-informed yoga, meditation, breathwork techniques, and the essentials of teaching beginners. She also honed her ability to provide hands-on assists, enhancing her capacity to support students in achieving proper alignment and deepening their practice.
As of March 2025, Cyn has earned the prestigious designation of E-RYT 500, reflecting her extensive experience and commitment to high-quality instruction. This milestone recognizes her dedication to continuing education, mentorship, and guiding both students and aspiring teachers in their yoga journey.
Cyn’s commitment to offering a well-rounded and accessible practice led her to pursue additional training in group fitness and fusion disciplines, including barre. This diverse background allows her to seamlessly integrate strength, flexibility, and mindfulness into her teaching, providing a comprehensive experience for her students.
She is currently training in sound therapy, exploring the power of vibration to promote healing and restore balance at a cellular level. Alongside this, she is also working on the launch of Moontara Yoga & Wellness, a transformative 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training program designed to guide and empower future instructors.
